Snapchat's Version of the Homepage Takeover

In their version of the homepage takeover, Snapchat has debuted promoted story ads. The ads appear among the stories from accounts and brands users follower and curated publisher content and original shows. Google Search Box Bug

In what has been confirmed as a bug, the Google search box is now showing recent searches, before users even click into the box. Users, including former Google executives, are not happy with the glitch. "Super annoying" is how Matt Cutts, an executive in Google search, described it. Facebook Adds PayPal to Messenger

As Marketplace continues to grow on Facebook, so do the ways users can handle and process payments. Last week Facebook announced users can send and receive payments directly through messenger using PayPal. This move is designed to encourage more use of the Marketplace function, which recently added dedicated automotive and rental sections.
