Snapchat Introduces New Ad Linking Options
Last week Snapchat announced advertisers can begin linking sponsored lens and geofilter ads using context cards. The feature, which rolled out to users last month, is a big boost to direct response advertisers and should make ads on the platform more effective. Facebook Local Targets Yelp and FourSquare
Facebook has revamped and relaunched the Facebook Events app, which failed to compete with Google Calendar, as Facebook Local. The app is designed to compete with local search platforms like Yelp and Four Square. People can search by location or through Facebook's listings which are broken into relevant categories.
