Facebook Issuing Refunds

Due to errors in the way it measured video ad plays, Facebook is issuing refunds, again. The error occurred on mobile video view measurements and resulted from videos that played out of view being billed to advertisers. Facebook has already informed advertisers of the mistake and is issuing refunds, some in excess of $5,000. For more on this, click here for a full run down from Marketing Land.

Facebook Adds Polling to Pages

Following the success of polls on Instagram Stories, Facebook is rolling out a polling feature to pages. The tool will allow pages to collect data from followers, essentially creating informal study groups. The feature will allow for two answer options and is rolling out on both desktop and mobile. Google Debuts Curved Mobile Browser

Believe it or not, Google does not just update their search algorithm. It has been confirmed that they are rolling out a new look for their mobile browser with curved edges. The update, pictured below, comes after significant user testing of the new design.
 

 

Save Lists on Google Maps Desktop

Android Police reported last week that users can now save lists on Google Maps’ desktop interface. The feature, highlighted in the picture below, was first released on mobile in February. It allows users to save, track, and share lists of places.
