Yelp Announces Review Solicitation Crackdown

In a move to preserve the integrity of its reviews, Yelp is cracking down on review solicitation. Last week the company said it will demote businesses in search results that it believes are soliciting reviews. This includes any type of solicitation, including asking customers. Google Announces New Knowledge Graph For Publishers

In the ever expanding crackdown on fake news, Google is updating the Knowledge Graph for publishers. The new layout, pictured below, will include common topics covered by the publisher, major awards, and reviews of the publishers claims by third parties.
