Facebook Debuts Pre-Roll Ads

In an announcement that confirmed reports from late November, Facebook will officially launch pre-roll ads starting next year. The announcement gave more details on the program, including limitations on which advertisers and publishers content will feature the new ads. They also confirmed they will only appear in the "Watch" video tab, as Facebook believes pre-roll ads are too disruptive on News Feed videos. Start Following #Hashtags on Instagram

In a new feature, believed to be the first of its kind, Instagram users can now follow specific hashtags. When uses begin following a hashtag, it will cause related posts and stories to appear in their feeds based on an algorithm to determine relevancy and quality. Google Analytics Adds New Features
